Previous Retards of the Month
A feature of the EvilBible.com web site is the monthly
award of the Retard of the Month to the person or persons who have demonstrated
an exceptional level of public stupidity due to religion. Nominees must be
public officials or public figures. Suggestions for future Retards of the
Month can be made by e-mailing
.
The Retard of the Month for April 2004
was:
Ousted
Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore for his insane and
illegal attempts to ignore the constitution of The United States of America by
illegally placing a 5,000 pound monument of the Ten Commandments in the rotunda
of the Alabama Judicial Building. He also ignored orders from superior
federal courts to remove the monument and was fired for this.
Roy Moore now is a celebrity of the religious right-wing
republicans and joins a number of other outlaws who the right wing glorifies as
heroes. For example; Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North (Iran-Contra),
Watergate burglar G. Gordon Liddy, the Miami relatives of the Cuban raft child
Elian Gonzales, and the alleged drug addict Rush Limbaugh.
Roy Moore's official web site is at
www.morallaw.org.
Here is a
