The EvilBible.com Discussion Forum started on Dec. 14 2004.  People of all religious beliefs are welcome to participate in on-line discussions regarding religion, atheism, and this web site.

The rules of the forum will be posted below and we suggest that you review these rules before posting any comments.  New rules will be highlighted here so I suggest that you bookmark this page instead of the discussion forum index, so that you will not miss any changes.

Current Rules:

•  This is a moderated forum and undesirable and abusive posts may be deleted, or the user banned from posting.  The current moderator is Chris, the Editor of EvilBible.com. 
• People are expected to be honest and to honestly answer questions that they are asked.  Evasive responses are not allowed.
• All posts are expected to be honest and at least semi-intelligent.  This forum is not like many other forums where anything is allowed.  Posters are expected to have a rational basis for their opinions and are expected to be able to support their opinion rationally.  Irrational or stupid posters may be banned at the sole discretion of the moderator.  This is done in order to reduce the amount of nonsense and increase the proportion of posts that are worth reading. 
• All opinions are not equal.  Valid opinions are based on accurate facts and are rationally and logically derived from these accurate facts.  Please take the time to make sure your facts are accurate and that your opinion can be logically derived from these facts.  Also be sure to check that you are not using any logical fallacies in your arguments.  People who are unable or unwilling to do this may be banned.  Here is a good link to read about logical fallacies: http://www.fallacyfiles.org/ 
• You must be at least 14 years old to post a message here.
• Posts may also be deleted automatically after a certain amount of time or at the discretion of the moderator in order to eliminate clutter.  If a post is deleted, that does not mean that it was found to be abusive.  Abusive posters will be banned.
• All posts must be in standard English.  Chat room acronyms (i.e. "LOL") are discouraged.  Proper capitalization is required, especially for the first letter of a sentence and the word "I".
• Posts are expected to be the original content of the poster, or properly attributed to the author. A link is expected to be provided if it is from a web site.
• You can an off-site avatar (those little pictures next to your screen name) but it can be no larger than 120 X 120 pixels.  No moving pictures are allowed.
• You can post SMALL pictures if they are on topic.  Please remember that many people have dial-up connections and these take a very long time to download, so post them sparingly.
• If you start a poll, be very careful about the wording of the answers.
• If you don't see a rule prohibiting a certain action, that doesn't mean it is allowed.  If you are unsure, then please ask Chris by private message or e-mail before you post something questionable.
